Lakes Region Charters, Lessons, and Rentals
There is nothing quite like a day on the water in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The water is clear and the scenery is stunning. Whether you are trying wakesurfing for the first time, getting the kids on the water like when you were a kid, or celebrating something special with your group, you are in the right place.
Our captains and coaches have spent years on these lakes and know how to put together a great day on the water for any group. Private Charters reserve the whole boat for only your group and we provide a captain and coach dedicated to making your day epic. Public Charters are best for individuals and small groups to get on the water for a social, coached water sports experience on Winnipesaukee. Our coaches also travel across the Lakes Region to work with boat owners on their own lake. And for experienced captains and riders who want the best equipment on the lake without a captain or coach, our Rentals are the right fit.
A Water Sports Charter is what most people come for or you can browse all of our lakes region water sports experiences below. Not sure what is right for you? Reach out and we will point you in the right direction.

Common Water Sports Questions
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my activity?
Weather-related delays and cancellations are at our discretion up to the time of departure. We do not cancel for rain, clouds, or undesirable weather, and we never make decisions based on notoriously unreliable forecasts. We only delay or cancel if conditions create an active safety hazard. If we determine that unsafe conditions will prevent your activity, you can reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund. For multi-day experiences, partial refunds are not issued for individual days affected by weather. If you are sensitive to undesirable weather conditions, we recommend ensuring that you have added our TripSafe Cancellation Protection at checkout if your booking qualifies.
What is TripSafe Cancellation Protection?
Plans change and TripSafe has you covered. Add it at checkout and your standard cancellation window is replaced with a 24 hour window before your activity, giving you far more flexibility than our standard policy. If something comes up like weather you are not comfortable with, a sick kid, or a change in plans, you can cancel for any reason and receive a full refund minus TripSafe and booking fees, or reschedule once at no cost. Either way you book with confidence knowing you are not locked in if something comes up. To cancel or reschedule under TripSafe, email info@elevatedadventureoutfitters.com so your request is time-stamped.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary by experience. Most experiences follow our standard policy which allows a full refund or free rescheduling with 5 or more days notice. Summer camp, private lessons, and boat rentals each have their own specific policies. Full details are on each experience page and will be shown again during the booking process. To cancel or reschedule, email info@elevatedadventureoutfitters.com or call (603) 704-4454.
Which water sport is the easiest to learn?
Tubing requires no athletic ability and is perfect for all ages and skill levels. Beyond that it is nearly impossible to say which water sport will be easiest for any individual. What comes naturally to one person may be a challenge for another. The best way to find out is to book enough time to try a few.
What do the different Adventure Rating levels mean?
Each experience is assigned one of four Adventure Ratings. Easy Adventure is relaxed and low effort. Active Adventure involves moderate movement and steady engagement. High Adventure is physically and mentally demanding with consistent activity. Ultimate Adventure requires strong fitness, sharp focus, and full participation throughout.
What is the Elevated Adventure Rating?
Our Adventure Rating is a score we assign to each experience based on fitness level, activity intensity, and adventure style. It helps you find the right fit for your group, your goals, and your appetite for adventure.
What is the Elevated Experience Guarantee?
We guarantee that your experience with us will be the highlight of your vacation. If your day with us does not deliver an amazing experience, reach out and we will make it right.

Where do Elevated Wake Co. experiences take place?
We operate most experiences on Lake Winnipesaukee. Yes. We offer [Custom Experiences] for groups of any size on Lake Winnipesaukee. We will handle the details including coordinating multiple boats, lodging, food, and other elements of your trip.
How do I choose the right water sports experience for my group?
Families and larger groups tend to love [private charters] since they get the whole boat to themselves and have full control over the time they have on the lake. Individuals and small groups just looking to wakesurf should book a [public charter]. Boat owners across the Lakes Region should look at [lessons]. Experienced captains and riders should check out our [rentals]. Still not sure? [Contact us] and we will help you figure it out.
How far in advance should I book a water sports experience in the Lakes Region?
As soon as you know your dates. Peak season on Lake Winnipesaukee fills up fast, especially weekends in July and August. We recommend booking at least two to four weeks out when possible which will also get you the best pricing.
How do water sports experiences work at Elevated Wake Co.?
Check [availability online] and book in minutes with live pricing and instant confirmation. Our online booking system is the best source of accurate availability and pricing. [Public charters] accommodate up to 6 riders per session. [Lessons] accommodate up to 4 students. For groups larger than standard capacity, [contact us] and we will put together a custom experience for your group.
Can I combine multiple water sports experiences during a longer vacation or over multiple trips to the Lakes Region?
Absolutely. Many guests will set up multiple experiences during their vacation to the area or even throughout their whole summer. We have enough variety that you can try multiple water sports or focus on progressing your favorite. You can even book off road experiences with [Elevated OffRoad Co.] and packaged experiences with [Elevated Adventure Outfitters.] Our [memberships] may be an awesome option for anyone who travels to the area on a regular basis.
Do I need water sports experience to book with Elevated Wake Co.?
It depends on the experience. [Private charters], [public charters], and [lessons] are great for complete beginners with no prior experience needed. Our coaches work with every skill level. Our [Wake Boat Rental] and [eFoil Rental] are the exceptions and require prior experience on the water. Not sure which is right for you? [Contact us] and we will point you in the right direction.
What is the best time of day for water sports on Lake Winnipesaukee?
If smooth water matters to your group more than sleeping in, a morning session on Lake Winnipesaukee is always the right call. If you can’t get to us early, our team will find the best water conditions available at that time in a secluded cove or less trafficked part of the lake. If you have the flexibility in your travel, weekdays can also be a bit of a cheat code to avoid boat traffic throughout the day.
Which water sports experience is best for someone who has never tried water sports before?
A [private water sports charter] is the best starting point in most cases. With only your group on the boat the focus can be on learning without worrying about ride time of other groups. These charters also eliminate the driver variable with our expert captains who know the finesse needed for first time riders. Our coaches work with complete beginners the coaching is tailored to your exact pace. Most first-time riders get up faster than they expect. If you are concerned with the athletic requirements of water sports, a [tubing charter] is a great fun option that just requires you to hold on.
