Is tipping expected?
Tips aren’t required but are appreciated if you think our team delivered a great experience. You can tip in cash or electronically through the follow-up email you receive. All electronic tips go directly to the staff who guided or coached your experience.
How do I book a charter, lesson or rental?
Booking is easy and available anytime right here on the website. Live availability and instant confirmation mean you never have to wait. [Explore all experiences] to find the right option for your group, or [contact us] if you need help.
Do you have options for large groups, corporate groups, or special events on Lake Winnipesaukee?
Yes. We have standard options for [bachelor] and [bachelorette] parties for groups of up to 20 people. For corporate events, large parties, family reunions, and other celebrations we offer fully turnkey [custom experiences]. We can coordinate every aspect of your event, planned by people who know the ins and outs of the Lakes Region.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased [on our website] and are delivered instantly via email. They never expire and work for any experience we offer including charters, camps, rentals, and lessons. They are also valid at [Elevated Adventure Outfitters] and [Elevated OffRoad Co.]
Can I extend my session on the day if I want more time?
If availability allows immediately following your session, we can easily extend on the spot. Check with our team at the start of your booking. Availability is not guaranteed so booking the right amount of time upfront is always the better approach. Do not count on extensions being possible on weekends.
Is full payment required at the time of booking?
Yes. All bookings require full payment at the time of booking. This streamlines check-in and arrival logistics. Refunds are subject to our [cancellation policy].
How many people can we have in our group when booking a water sports experience?
It depends on the experience. Most of our [private charters] on Lake Winnipesaukee accommodate up to 10 guests per boat with the option to book two boats for groups up to 20. [Public charters] accommodate up to 6 riders per session. [Lessons] accommodate up to 4 students. For groups larger than standard capacity, [contact us] and we will put together a custom experience for your group.
Cancellations, Refunds & Weather
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my activity?
Weather-related delays and cancellations are at our discretion up to the time of departure. We do not cancel for rain, clouds, or undesirable weather, and we never make decisions based on notoriously unreliable forecasts. We only delay or cancel if conditions create an active safety hazard. If we determine that unsafe conditions will prevent your activity, you can reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund. For multi-day experiences, partial refunds are not issued for individual days affected by weather. If you are sensitive to undesirable weather conditions, we recommend ensuring that you have added our TripSafe Cancellation Protection at checkout if your booking qualifies.
What is TripSafe Cancellation Protection?
Plans change and TripSafe has you covered. Add it at checkout and your standard cancellation window is replaced with a 24 hour window before your activity, giving you far more flexibility than our standard policy. If something comes up like weather you are not comfortable with, a sick kid, or a change in plans, you can cancel for any reason and receive a full refund minus TripSafe and booking fees, or reschedule once at no cost. Either way you book with confidence knowing you are not locked in if something comes up. To cancel or reschedule under TripSafe, email info@elevatedadventureoutfitters.com so your request is time-stamped.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary by experience. Most experiences follow our standard policy which allows a full refund or free rescheduling with 5 or more days notice. Summer camp, private lessons, and boat rentals each have their own specific policies. Full details are on each experience page and will be shown again during the booking process. To cancel or reschedule, email info@elevatedadventureoutfitters.com or call (603) 704-4454.
Can I modify my booking after it is confirmed?
Yes, within the limits of our cancellation policy we will do our best to accommodate changes and recommend requesting them as soon as possible. Every change is dependent on availability and may be subject to additional fees if the time or date is changed.
What to Bring
Do you offer wetsuits?
We only recommend wetsuits in early June and after late September. During peak season they are not necessary, especially during an active water sports session. We do not rent wetsuits but have a limited selection available for purchase at check in. Call ahead to check sizing availability.
Why can't I bring spray sunscreen?
Sunscreen in general can damage the interior materials on our boats but spray is particularly bad because it spreads everywhere. Please bring lotion or stick sunscreen only. We have boat-safe sunscreen available for purchase if you forget.
Can I bring my own food and drinks on the boat?
We stock the boat with bottled water but you are welcome to bring your own cooler with drinks and snacks. No glassware or foam coolers, and skip anything that stains. If you would not eat or drink it on a white couch, leave it behind. Our team reserves the right to restrict certain items before boarding or while on the boat.
Can we bring our own life jackets, boards, skis, or other equipment?
You are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer. Our team will inspect it before use to ensure it meets safety standards, NH state law, and is appropriate for the activity. We provide everything needed for any experience we offer so there is no need to bring anything unless you have personal preferences.
Can we bring alcohol?
Beer, hard seltzer, and canned drinks are welcome. No glass containers, red wine, or liquor. Anyone participating in water sports should not drink beforehand. Our team has final say on participation if safety is a concern and refunds will not be given for people who cannot control themselves.

Where do I park?
Parking details are included in your confirmation email. If you have trouble finding us when you arrive, call us at (603) 704-4454 and we will make sure we find each other.
What happens if I am running late?
Your session starts at the booked time whether you are there or not. If you are running late call us immediately at (603) 704-4454 and we will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee makeup time especially on busy days as that will impact other customers.
When should I arrive?

Where do we meet for our booking?
Most experiences depart from our main location at North Water Marine, 18 Endicott St. N, Laconia, NH unless you chose another option during booking. Your confirmation email will include your exact meeting location, directions, and parking information.
What happens if someone in our group gets sick on the water?
If someone is not feeling well we will take a break or head back to drop them off if needed. The remaining group is welcome to continue their charter but refunds will not be offered for sickness. If you are prone to motion sickness, take precautions before arrival.
