Lake Winnipesaukee eFoil Lesson

Weather-related delays and cancellations are at our discretion up to the time of departure. We do not cancel for rain, clouds, or undesirable weather, and we never make decisions based on notoriously unreliable forecasts. We only delay or cancel if conditions create an active safety hazard. If we determine that unsafe conditions will prevent your activity, you can reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund. For multi-day experiences, partial refunds are not issued for individual days affected by weather. If you are sensitive to undesirable weather conditions, we recommend ensuring that you have added our TripSafe Cancellation Protection at checkout if your booking qualifies.

Plans change and TripSafe has you covered. Add it at checkout and your standard cancellation window is replaced with a 24 hour window before your activity, giving you far more flexibility than our standard policy. If something comes up like weather you are not comfortable with, a sick kid, or a change in plans, you can cancel for any reason and receive a full refund minus TripSafe and booking fees, or reschedule once at no cost. Either way you book with confidence knowing you are not locked in if something comes up. This policy applies to all bookings unless our recommended TripSafe Cancellation Protection option was selected during checkout.

• Bookings canceled or changed 5 or more days before your scheduled activity qualify for a full refund or free rescheduling to another available time.
• With less than 5 days before your scheduled activity, bookings are non-refundable and may only be rescheduled once, subject to availability. Rescheduling for certain dates or times may incur additional fees.
• No-shows or late arrivals are not eligible for any refund or rescheduling.

Anyone participating in water sports behind the boat or planning to get in the water must be a comfortable swimmer. Non-swimmers are welcome to ride along and enjoy the day from the boat.

All team members are CPR and First Aid certified. Our captains hold Commercial Captain’s licenses and the whole team of guides complete extensive yearly on-water training.

We travel to most lakes in the Lakes Region including all towns around Lake Winnipesaukee, Lake Winnisquam, Merrymeeting Lake, Newfound Lake, Ossipee Lake, Squam Lake, Lake Wentworth, and Lake Waukewan. Don’t see your lake? Contact us and we will see what we can arrange.

If availability allows immediately following your session, we can easily extend on the spot. Check with our team at the start of your booking. Availability is not guaranteed so booking the right amount of time upfront is always the better approach. Do not count on extensions being possible on weekends.

Our coaches travel to you anywhere across the Lakes Region so pricing varies based on your location to account for travel time. You will see accurate pricing for your specific location once you select your date and lake in the booking flow. Alternatively, you can meet us in Laconia for the lowest cost option.

An eFoil is an electric hydrofoil board. A battery-powered motor drives a propeller mounted on a foil beneath the board. As you pick up speed the foil lifts the board out of the water and you ride above the surface. You control the speed with a handheld remote. It is quiet, smooth, and unlike anything else on the lake.

You and your coach will both wear an intercom built into your helmet so you get live coaching as you ride. This speeds up progress significantly since you receive immediate feedback and corrections without having to return to the boat after each fall.

No prior experience required. Our coaches work with all skill levels from complete beginners learning to ride to experienced riders looking to push their technique further. How quickly you progress will vary but our coaching significantly speeds up that progression at every rider level.

Everyone learns at their own pace, some pick it up quickly while others need a few sessions. Our coaches will do everything they can to shorten your learning curve and every rider sees progress in their first lesson. Most riders start on their stomach, progress to their knees, and eventually get to standing and foiling. If you can handle basic movements like a pushup and standing from a kneeling position, we can get you standing. From there it is about practice and balance. Your coach will walk you through drills on shore before you ever hit the water, and no matter how fast you pick it up, you will be having fun on the board.
