Lakes Region Wake Boat Driving Lesson

This policy applies to all Water Sports Lessons and Wake Boat Driving Lessons.

• Cancellations made with at least 72 hours notice qualify for a full refund or free rescheduling to another available time.
• Cancellations within 72 hours of your scheduled lesson are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once if availability permits.
• Weather-related delays are handled on a case by case basis. We will discuss any weather concerns with you and the boat owner and a decision will be made at least 2 hours before your scheduled lesson. We only delay or cancel if visibility or water conditions present an active safety hazard or in the case of active thunder or lightning. If unsafe conditions prevent your lesson, you will be permitted to reschedule at no cost.

No. Driving lessons are for anyone who wants to improve behind the wheel of a wake boat. New boat owners get up to speed fast instead of spending a season figuring it out on their own. Experienced captains use it to dial in wake setup or improve technique with help from our captains who spend hundreds of hours a season on the water.

We travel to most lakes in the Lakes Region including all towns around Lake Winnipesaukee, Lake Winnisquam, Merrymeeting Lake, Newfound Lake, Ossipee Lake, Squam Lake, Lake Wentworth, and Lake Waukewan. Don’t see your lake? Contact us and we will see what we can arrange.

If availability allows immediately following your session, we can easily extend on the spot. Check with our team at the start of your booking. Availability is not guaranteed so booking the right amount of time upfront is always the better approach. Do not count on extensions being possible on weekends.

Our coaches travel to you anywhere across the Lakes Region so pricing varies based on your location to account for travel time. You will see accurate pricing for your specific location once you select your date and lake in the booking flow. Alternatively, you can meet us in Laconia for the lowest cost option.

Wake setup for wakesurfing and wakeboarding, boat handling and speed control, towing riders safely, docking, and trailering. Your captain works through whatever you need most in the two hours.

Yes. If your riders also want coaching, we can add a water sports coach to the same visit or you can book for separate days. If you are very new driving a wake boat, we would highly recommend separating the two lessons and starting with a driving lesson. Nothing will inhibit a rider from getting up more than improper driving technique.

Yes. This session takes place on your boat at your dock. Your captain meets you there and works with you on your actual equipment. We have driven most current makes and models so wherever you are starting from, we already know your boat.
